The Knight Foundation School of Computing and Information Science (KFSCIS) at Florida International University (FIU) has teamed with Break Through Tech to build initiatives that will catapult women and other underrepresented groups into technology degrees, and other professions in the tech industry. This initiative, which is part of the Gender Equality in Tech (GET) Cities Initiative, will also serve to extend the talent pipeline in South Florida’s developing tech economy.
