About the Program Operations Manager Role
We are looking for a Program Operations Manager who has a passion for people and entrepreneurship and is excited to engage city-wide stakeholders and our expansive talent network. Our new role includes high-visibility, high-impact, and will work directly with the CEO and the Board.
The Program Operations Manager will own the strategic implementation and management of the following entrepreneurship programs: Tech Accelerator, Power Huddles Programming, Tech Fellows Internship Program, and our Member Community. The initial focus of the work will center largely around the accelerator program and work in collaboration with the plug in team to operate Power Huddles & the Tech Fellows Internship program. The ideal candidate will support our team in the execution of our programs. We need a project-oriented and growth-focused Program Manager to support our company mission and growth of our member network. We are a collaborative, agile, and forward-thinking team; we seek someone with a similar mind-set, skill-set, and enthusiasm. This role is open for remote work if you do not live in the LA area.

Responsibilities:
Founder selection and onboarding for our programs
Assist in planning, organizing, scheduling the curriculum and seminars for our programs
Facilitate and/or, and lead meetings, workshops, and mentoring sessions
Communicate and enforce program logistics
Ensure applicant and participant compliance with program policies
Manage program calendar and logistics
Coordinate meetings for mentor training sessions
Validate, test, and improve program operations via processes and systems
Support Founders by connecting them with the right people in our network at the right time.
Work with program assistant to tackle key project deliverables and milestones
Organize and facilitate gatherings of VCs, Founders, and Key Stakeholders (esp. Demo Day)
Build and implement roadmap for demo day and other programs
Recruit participants, speakers, guests for events
Help secure outcomes, services, and benefits for Accelerator Founders
About You:
You are passionate about entrepreneurship, digital media, startups, and tech
You are self sufficient, able to draft and turn concepts and into processes with minimal input
You are comfortable providing input and feedback to leadership even when difficult
You have strong relationship-building and networking skills
You are adaptable and agile
You thrive under pressure and feed off the buzz of chasing down targets and deadlines, and you are not afraid to put yourself out there and make things happen
You have high internal expectations for what is possible
You have a highly methodical and organized approach to your work and superb time management skills
You are a proactive, effective communicator with impeccable listening, speaking, writing and presenting skills
You are comfortable, experienced in, and motivated by working with high-expectations stakeholders who move at pace where meeting goals is a question of “how” and not “if”
You have a proactive mindset with regard to spotting opportunities & acting quickly upon them
You are flexible, comfortable with ambiguity, and looking to be stretched (the scope of your role will evolve and change as we scale up)
Requirements:
2-3 years of relevant work experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business / Marketing / Finance/ Communications
Proficient in Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs), MailChimp, Slack, and Asana
